Marsden has worked in the insurance industry for about 7 years having worked for companies like Madison Insurance, Equity Bank (Bancassurance), and Aon Kenya Insurance Brokers.

He has one wife Phyllis Awori who is a co-director of Adullam Ventures and is blessed with two sons. Marsden is passionate about youth empowerment and believes the youth should be given a chance to exercise their talents irrespective of their background.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce, insurance and risk management from Egerton University.
Phyllis has worked for Iseme, Kamau & Maema Advocates as a Personal Assistant with which has exposed her to various skills having worked in the Litigation and Commercial Department.
